About Us

Carberry’s Community Paint Day as part for the National Mosaic Mural project Canada 150 Mosaic

The Carberry Plains Arts Council is dedicated to making arts and culture accessible to the community of Carberry North-Cypress Langford with quality arts instruction, live performance events, and community arts based projects that involve participants of all ages and backgrounds.  We receive operational funding from the Province of Manitoba through Manitoba Sport Culture and Heritage and project funding from the Town of Carberry and Municipality of North-Cypress Langford.

The Carberry Plains Arts Council is a non-profit organization incorporated through the Town of Carberry and RM of North-Cypress Langford.  The organization is governed by a board of volunteers who reside in the community of Carberry North-Cypress Langford which includes liaisons representatives from the Town and RM.

The Carberry Plains Arts Council is administrated by Amy Urquhart who is a part-time employee and in the office Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am-5pm.
